mtdのパーティションを追加で作成した場合については、
/dev/flash/* のノードを変更してあげるとよいです。

これらのノードはgenext2fsが実行されるときに
vendors/AtmarkTechno/Armadillo-9/ext2_devtable.txt
を参照して作られています。

そこで、該当ファイルの
/dev/flash/bootloader c   660    0     0     90      0       0       0     -
/dev/flash/kernel     c   660    0     0     90      2       0       0     -
/dev/flash/userland   c   660    0     0     90      4       0       0     -
/dev/flash/config     c   660    0     0     90      6       0       0     -
を
/dev/flash/bootloader c   660    0     0     90      0       0       0     -
/dev/flash/kernel     c   660    0     0     90      2       0       0     -
/dev/flash/userland   c   660    0     0     90      4       0       0     -
/dev/flash/userland-user   c   660    0     0     90      6       0       0     -
/dev/flash/config     c   660    0     0     90      8       0       0     -
としてから、make imageを行えば対処できます。
