It's OK now!! this is the line i pass to the kernel when it boots and
works for me:

setenv root=/dev/nfs nfsroot={server_ip}:{root file system path}
nfsaddrs={Armadillo's_IP}:{server_IP}:{gateway_IP}:{subnet_mask}:Armadillo:eth0:off
noinitrd
